Folding Sheets

How do YOU fold your sheets?

  1. I am fussy about folding sheets as well. I lay them out on the bed and make sure the ends all line up nicely. I have even mastered folding fitted sheets. Does it matter? Probably not, but it makes me happy!

    • I am very impressed Darlene! I have not learned the sweet spot of folding sheets neatly. And as long as they feel good in bed without too many wrinkles I guess it doesn’t matter. 💖

  2. Flat sheets get folded into nice squares or rectangles. Fitted sheets? What is this “fold” of which you speak? Those get flopped over this way and that, and then shoved into the drawer. The better part of wisdom is knowing which technique is best for which chore!

  3. My arms never seem long enough to fold sheets well, and as for the fitted ones . . .😂 The way I get around it now, as long as we don’t have guests, is to wash the sheets on the bed and then take them from the dryer and put them right back on. However, i can’t fold tablecloths either.

  4. I’ve always wanted someone to ask me how I fold sheets! So here you go: I start out determined to fold the fitted sheet into a perfect square and about halfway through, I just bunch it up and flatten it out and then I stuff it into the closet! 🙂

  5. The flat sheet is easy: Just following the rectangular lines.

The fitted sheet? I once saw a video on how to do it right, and it seemed easy, but . . . .NOT! Often Hubs, who usually makes the bed, just put the laundered fitted sheet right back on, so it matters not.
